Jife is an IRC robot written in Java, based on the Martyr IRC framework. Its purpose is to provide a handy spell checking service for those times when you need a quick spell check on IRC. Jife also does dictionary lookups on DICT servers, such as the dict.org public service.
Jife has a flexible design that allows for different word sources and different suggestion mechanisms to be swapped out. Jife is still alpha, so if you are interested in running Jife or picking pieces apart, please send me an email and I can help you get started.
